Data we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you provide: name, email, phone number, enquiry type, planned dates, number of people and message. We use these details to handle your enquiry and get back to you. Fields marked with an asterisk are necessary to respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis and retention
Enquiries are processed to take pre-contractual steps for your project or in our legitimate interest in answering your questions. Data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, and for a maximum of three years after our last contact.
Recipients and service providers
The Domaine de Briquemault team can access enquiries. The database is hosted on our OVH server. Resend delivers email notifications and Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website. These providers process the data needed for their services. Your data is not sold for commercial purposes.
International transfers
Resend stores email content and logs in the United States. Its data processing agreement includes the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Union under the safeguards described in its policy. Information about these providers and their safeguards is available below.
Draft on your device
The form keeps a draft in your browser’s local storage: name, email, phone number, number of people and message. It expires after 24 hours and is removed the next time the form is opened. Use “Start over” in the draft notice to remove it sooner. A confirmed submission also clears it. On a shared device, clear your draft before leaving.
Cookies and external media
The site does not install advertising audience tracking. Technical cookies support functions including language and administrator authentication. Video previews are served by our site; the external YouTube player loads only when you choose to play a video. This sends technical information to YouTube under its privacy policy. The contact map is provided by OpenStreetMap and also sends it the technical information needed to display the map.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data and object to certain processing. Write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
